Boys & Their Toys

This is Caden in Cody's football helmet and jersey. We couldn't get Cody to try on this outfit so we made Caden pose for the picture! See what I mean...all smiles!
And yes, he smiles too. Such a sweetie pie.

Caden enjoying the new bath toys. Usually Cody is in there with him hording all the toys so Caden is enjoying this bath with all the toys to himself (no actually Caden likes it when Cody joins him as Cody is very good at making Caden laugh).

Both boys in the toy boxes. They both look annoyed that I'm taking pictures!

Random pictures

Cody and Caden both received "ride on" toys this Christmas. Cody got his very first scooter and Caden got a toy that he ride or push around. The playroom is definitely overloaded now and we are starting to think about a bigger home! Crazy Caden.
Cody wanted to paint one day so Daddy took him down in the basement and got out the real paint. That's scary isn't it. Does he look ornery or what?!

Caden is in the Koozie drawer and managed to empty almost all of them out onto the floor. Little stinker!

I had to take a picture of Caden in his new fuzzy fleece because I thought he looked so cute and so grown-up in it.

Ho Ho Ho

Santa visited the Klein's house. Cody left him milk and cookies and carrots for the reindeer. The gifts may not look even but Caden's big gift is going to arrive in April for his birthday! Hopefully these pictures won't come back to haunt me.

Caden got a musical cube from Santa. How neat.

And Cody got a big red firetruck. Way cool.

Cody is helping Grandma decorate the Christmas tree in their new home. Pretty amazing that they moved in on Dec. 18th and we had Christmas right on time...the stockings were hung and the house was beautiful.

Now this is the Jens Christmas which was one of the last Christmases of 2008. But when Cody opened his Batman Castle from Uncle Matt and Aunt Kelli he said, "I've been looking for this!" He was pretty excited to finally get the castle that was on his list!

More Christmas 08

I think this is our only family picture in front of the tree. The boys are in their jammies and Caden is obviously ready for bed! Cody and his new remote control front loader (at least that's what I think it's called)
Adam was very creative in wrapping Chad's new golf club.

Cody got golf clubs of his own...not so sure Daddy should be the one showing him how to use them though! ha ha

Only three of us would pose for a picture at the extended Klein side Christmas. Come on Codes!

Chippy & Bushy

Grammy (my grammy or "white grammy as Cody calls her) wrote a story for Cody about these two squirrels that lived in Cody's backyard and made a book with pictures of Cody and Caden in it. And Papa made Cody a squirrel feeder for his backyard.
And this is Chippy and Bushy eating up all of Cody's corn.

Christmas 08

They are growing up so quickly. Caden now prefers to stand most of the time. And they both like to hang out in their jammies all morning...I do make them get dressed before daddy gets home though! Rock on at the Jens Christmas. It's always great to be "back home" for Christmas. I guess there is a part of me that doesn't want to grow up at times. But it should make mom and dad feel proud that gave us such a wonderful childhood and we all still enjoy being together! And the group is only getting bigger so that means more and more fun!

Cody had so much fun and he was totally pooped from all the traveling that he fell asleep at dinner one night at 6:00 pm.

Caden is such a little show off. He is always smiling and loves all the action.

Crazy Uncle Matt and Sweet Aunt Kelli here for Cody's birthday...what a treat to have them here for the celebration!

Cody's 3rd Birthday!

It's hard to believe our little baby is three! He has brought us so much joy and entertainment the last three years. There are days when I wish he could stay this age forever...(and then there are the other days too :) But he truly is a wonderful kid and we we look forward to many more fun and exciting years ahead!! Cody's birthday theme this year was "The Bee Movie" and Mommy made the cake this year. (Which I was very proud of by the way)
And we all decided that Uncle Nick definitely looks like Barry Benson the Bee.

And then there are Barry's friends...

Jens Thanksgiving is a "Zoo"

Grams & Pops took us to the Henry Dorley Zoo over Thanksgiving weekend. It was Caden's first trip to the zoo and Cody loves animals! Look at these two monkeys!!

The aquarium is a must see...very cool.

Are these two guys great with kids or what?! The other two children aside from my two boys are Jeremy's (Sarah's fiance) niece and nephew.

Papa & the Firetrucks

Papa took Cody to the Glenwood Firestation to check out the firetrucks since that's the only thing on Cody's Christmas list is a BIG Firetruck!

Crazy Kleins!

Yes, I am just now posting our Thanksgiving pictures with the Klein side... Aren't they cute! There's no relationship quite like a mother-son one right! :)

Cody helped Gammy make a christmas chain for her office...quite the helper!

Trick-or-Treat

It took a lot of convincing, but we finally got Cody to put on his fireman outfit and once he saw how cool he looked in it he didn't want to take it off. He insisted on wearing the hat backwards...he thought it was on correctly because the bill was in the front this way! And of course Caden is just like, "whatever".

Too bad mom won't let me actually eat any of this!

Crazy Fire Chief Cody

Halloween was fun this year. The first house we went to Cody rang the doorbell and said trick-or-treat then handed her some candy and she said that was the nicest trick-or-treater that's ever come to her door.
