Cody has been quite entertaining as he is learning more and more words...
1. One day in church he pooped his pants, so Chad leaned over and whispered, "Cody did you go poop?" and Cody says (not whispers), "No, Mommy poo". I'm sure everyone at church fights to get a seat by us because he does tend to be entertaining. As another day in church I look away for one minute and then I look down at him and he has taken his socks and shoes off and is stuffing his socks down in his shoes. Guess he was hot.
2. Many people ask if Cody seems to know what's going on with my pregnancy, if he realizes there is a baby in there, etc. It's hard to tell if he has totally grasped the concept but what he does say quite frequently is when he sits on my lap and can't seem to get comfortable he looks at my tummy and says, "Beep, beep, baby".
3. One of Cody's favorite things to do right now is hide from mommy or daddy. We always try to guess where he's hiding, "Is he under the table?" and then a little voice says "Nope"...the hiding spots are good, but still need a little work on the staying quiet.
4. During one of our big snow falls (6 inches or so), Chad had gone outside and cleared all the snow off of the van (except for the top of course) and Cody and I look out the window and Cody says, "Mommy see...car hat" and sure enough it looked like the van had a hat on.

Trip to Arizona
I realize I have some catching up to do, so we'll start with our trip to Arizona in January. We took a "pane" to go down and see Uncle "Mott" and Aunt Kelli. Cody did very well traveling, he loved the plane ride...kept saying, "mommy, daddy, see" as he pointed out the window. The weather was great (mid-60s) so Cody loved playing outside in the sun and he didn't even have to bundle up!

One day we took a hike and before we even started, Cody needed to stop and take a snack break and the sun was bright so he thought he needed mommy's shades.

Birthday Bash
I made sure everyone had a balloon and then they had to sit down and make a run way for me.

I love my new tricycle!
Cody got mad when we made him stop playing with one present so that he could continue opening presents. I think for Christmas we might spread his gifts out so he can sit and enjoy each one before moving on to the next.

Trick-or-Treat
Let's go Mom!
Yummy...
This candy bar is delicious.
Funny story about Cody's Halloween costume...he orginally was going to be Curious George since he loves George. So I finally found (a high demand) George costume and he wanted nothing to do with it. Wouldn't put his legs in the costume and definitely didn't want the head piece on, so...I sold it on Ebay and made about $65. Some crazy mother really wanted that costume! So we knew the only thing Cody would wear on his head was his Cubs hat so we bought a jersey and that was it. I think he was more excited about his pumpkin bag than his costume.

Great Memory
Cody got his last set of shots the other day (well, until he's 5) and he had band-aids on both legs and kept pointing to his leg and saying ouwee. He tried pulling up his pant leg to look at it. But that night we took the band-aids off as he got in the tub and put them in the bathroom trash can and said bye bye ouwees. The next morning we wanted to see if his legs still hurt so we asked him where his ouwees were. He left the room and came back with the band-aids. We were amazed that he remembered.
